The only way i can run Diablo 1.12 is run it trough "D2Loader-1.12.exe" (D2Loader_v1.12_Jun_18_2008_) and game runs perfect, without restarts (in Windows XP 32bit). In Windows XP 圆4(graphic card nvidia), it works without problem no loader is needed.īUT in Windows 7 圆4 (graphic card ati radeon) the all Diablo2 versions run without PC restart but game occasionally minimalizes itself (no im not hitting winkey) Run game through PlugY.exe (PlugY_The_Survival_Kit_v9.00) I have also disabled windows option "Automatically Restart on System Failure" To install new graphic drivers (for ati radeon) I find that if i use hero with lower movement speed the PC will restart after 5 - 10 min, but with if hero has movement speed higher eg (+100% movement speed) and i click move = instant PC restart. There is no blue sreen warning, just black screen and restart (same like if you press reset button). I don’t believe we all have the exact same driver issue. I’m seeing quite a few reports on the internet of this exact same behavior. I did an uninstall/reinstall (not yet a clean install of everything, including bnet), same behavior. Music stops, little flame widget in the bottom right freezes, and client crashes, no error report. Since that first crash, the client crashes every time between the Blizzard/D2 title splash and the main “Press any key” title screen. Relaunch from bnet thinking it’s just a fluke.
Within 5 seconds, I get the error report in the background, which I close. Open the Task Manager and end the D2R process. Totally fine until randomly in the middle of the sanctuary the graphics freeze, mouse cursor still works. D2R client launched, I configured my game settings and did a Chaos Sanctuary run since that’s one of the more graphics-intensive maps. Brand new rig, first app I installed was bnet and D2R.
